We all want to bring more abundance into our lives but what does that actually mean? For me, it means making sure that three key areas of my life are in balance: health, wealth and happiness. If you are missing one, there cannot be complete abundance in your life.
Based on the positive feedback from my first virtual retreat in June, I want to gather again and inspire you to find abundance in your life!
- Health: Your health is your wealth! We are reminded of this when we are ill or experience chronic pain. And let’s face it – as our bodies age, they do talk to us a bit more! However, thanks to all the people who I have met during my years of self-development study, I have discovered there are wonderful holistic ways to improve our health. The proof is in the pudding: I’m almost 60 and don’t take any medications (pharmacologic or over-the-counter) and am full of energy—some might say too much energy at times!
- Wealth: Although this topic is the focus of many discussions by the media, politicians and individuals right now, we need to re-focus our thoughts from what we don’t have to what is possible. Now more than ever, we need to seek opportunities to expand and create wealth in all aspects of our lives. We need to transform today’s contraction into tomorrow’s expansion.
- Happiness: The old adage says money doesn’t buy happiness. Some of the wealthiest people I know worry about finances. Happiness is an elusive state that many pursue, but may not fine. I can help you find that “secret sauce” that works for you.
- Wealth: Although this topic is the focus of many discussions by the media, politicians and individuals right now, we need to re-focus our thoughts from what we don’t have to what is possible. Now more than ever, we need to seek opportunities to expand and create wealth in all aspects of our lives. We need to transform today’s contraction into tomorrow’s expansion.

Hi, I’m Kristi Stangeland, founder of My ParaVita, a company that helps busy women find balance, wellness and a sense of achievement in all they do by focusing on peace, power and play.
Hosting retreats at Indian Point has brought me in contact with so many amazing, talented teachers. Dr. Kathi Fry
Dr. Kathleen Fry is a conventionally trained physician with an unconventional story. Trained and certified in Ob/Gyn from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology she now follows her special passion: homeopathy.
Dr. Fry is a Founding Diplomat of the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine and a Past President of the American Holistic Medical Association, (now the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine). Malabika Shaw
Malabika is a devoted student of consciousness, spirituality and of energy healing arts that connects these to our current physical reality. She started Vision Wholistic in 2000 with the intention of creating the ability to see wholeness.
She loves to teach. It is her passion. Sharing the knowledge about these cutting edge thoughts, tools and techniques are exhilarating beyond belief. Adding old and new information like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle to get a holistic picture is fun. She is willing to teach everything she knows. Check more about Malabika here.
Juliana Kurokawa

Juliana Kurokawa has been a student and a facilitator of A Course in Miracles groups since 2012; in her own words, a powerful tool for a profound journey into her mind. Juliana became a facilitator, and later a trainer, of the Miracle Choice Game, which was inspired by A Course in Miracles. She gives talks, workshops and retreats on her unique way of going deep into profound subjects in a light and fun way.
Helle Brisson
Helle has a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology and Life Coaching. With earlier degrees in nursing and choreography, her training in spiritual psychology counseling, NLP, and her certificates in alternative healing modalities enable her to provide a holistic approach to life coaching.
Helle’s intuitive guidance, life coaching and writers’ workshops are today important parts of Helle’s daily work. Check more about Helle here.
Laura Biron
Laura Biron, MBA, RD, CD, CEDRD and KYT, is registered dietitian nutritionist, yoga teacher, and mindfulness instructor offers a mind-body approach to nutrition and wellbeing. Learn more about Laura here.
Laural Carr
Laural Carr, BFA, RGD, is Toronto-based FlowYOGA practitioner since 1992. She completed her two-year certification in 1996 and has been leading weekly classes since 2000. Her yoga practice supported her and kept her on an even keel through the loss of her father, the birth of her daughter, pivotal changes in her 30-year award-winning business and many challenging life events.
Meredith Sands Keator
Founder of Neural Resonance Therapy® and co-director of Somatic Stretch®, Meredith has been teaching Somatic Stretch since 1986. Trained by her mother, Lilian Jarvis, the founder of Somatic Stretch and a well-known principal dancer with the National Ballet of Canada, Meredith carries on the family lineage of this gentle, yet powerful method. Dr. Kathi Fry will lead a highly interactive session teaching us some simple techniques to strengthen your immune system by balancing your own energy with Jin Shin Jyutsu.
Wealth: Spiritual Principles
Learn how to align your greater mind to the abundant nature of the universe with Malabika Shaw. Creating wealth entails much more than smart choices and hard work. In reality, it is a spiritual adventure.
Happiness: Miracle Choice Game
Playing Miracle Choice brings individual moments of insight. Juliana Kurokawa will facilitate a group game on Happiness that will deepen your awareness of what this means for you.
Intention Setting
Helle Brisson will guides us through writing our intentions for the future with teaching, journaling and guided meditation.
Meditation with Kristi
Practice guided meditations with Kristi and download an abundance exercise so you can enhance your weekend experience.
Gentle Movement for Digestion
Laura Biron will be providing a suggested menu for the weekend along with gentle yogic movement before lunch.

FlowYoga is a smooth flow of postures, in a comfortable, soothing and challenging environment to stretch, strengthen and rejuvenate the mind and body, boost immune function, ease joint and muscle stiffness and breathe space and ease into a hectic life.
Me Time
The weekend schedule provides down time just for you: time to read, nap, take a bath or an independent, abundance exercise.

Emotions are stored in our bodies. Somatic stretch® enables you to achieve greater relaxation and increased flexibility in the muscles and joints through physical release while easing into the emotional body.

THIS ALL SOUNDS GREAT BUT…
I'm so tired of Zoom!
Aren’t we all?!
Although you will need to use Zoom to connect to this virtual retreat, I recommend you use headphones for our daily meditations and some of the other activities we will be doing. But the schedule also makes time for unplugged “me time” for things like taking a bath, mindful walks or independent, optional exercises.
Is it worth it?
We all know the toll this pandemic has taken on our mental well-being. Social isolation, job insecurity and health crises have left many of us feeling as if we are alone in the world.
That’s why it is so critical that you make time to surround yourself with wonderful teachers and amazing women who can support you and encourage you.
I can't attend the whole weekend.
