Hi, I’m Kristi Stangeland, founder of My ParaVita, a company that helps busy women find balance, wellness and a sense of achievement in all they do by focusing on peace, power and play.

Hosting retreats at Indian Point has brought me in contact with so many amazing, talented teachers. I have learned so much from participating in the retreats and repeating retreats. I am so grateful for those teachings during this time.

Because of our current circumstances, I now get to bring them altogether and showcase their talents. I am so excited to share this power house group of women that I have brought together for this weekend.

I hear you!

It’s been quite a ride for our world—and for each of us personally. As for myself, I’ve ridden a roller coaster of emotions since early March: traveling through O’Hare Airport fearing a virus on every door knob; grief at the cancelation of my daughter’s wedding; disappointment at having to postpone my first international retreat in France; and optimism at seeing how Mother Earth is thriving amid our shutdown.

Stay-at-home orders have forced us to rethink how we work, how we learn and how we connect with others. I’d like to invite you to take those connections to a higher level by joining me, amazing teachers and other supportive women for my RELAX RESET RECHARGE Virtual Retreat from June 26 – 28.

That’s why I’ve assembled a powerhouse team of women to showcase their specific areas of expertise with you—and me—during this retreat weekend.

We will all come away relaxed, recharged and re-calibrated with a new set of tools, tips and insights that will help us enter this new chapter in our world and in our lives.

Lisbeth Firmin

Lisbeth Firmin is a contemporary American realist, known for her urban landscapes. Her work explores the relationship between people and their urban environments. She is one of only a few accredited teachers for Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.

Laura Heselton

Laura has a loyal, international following that continues to grow because of the insight, accuracy, and empathy she’s demonstrated as a medium and intuitive coach for more than two decades.  She  helps people unravel the mysteries of who they are, why they are on this planet and to get to it, now.

After over a decade studying and teaching yoga Sabrina discovered the power of energy healing. 

After a life changing experience, Sabrina spent years studying Bio-Energy, breathing and meditative healing techniques and has combined them to create the healing practice of Energy Restoration.

Meredith Sands Keator

Founder of Neural Resonance Therapy® and co-director of Somatic Stretch®, Meredith has been teaching Somatic Stretch since 1986. Trained by her mother,  Lilian Jarvis, the founder of Somatic Stretch and a well-known principal dancer with the National Ballet of Canada, Meredith carries on the family lineage of this gentle, yet powerful method.

Laural Carr

Laural Carr, BFA, RGD, is Toronto-based FlowYOGA practitioner since 1992. She completed her two-year certification in 1996 and has been leading weekly classes since 2000. Her yoga practice supported her and kept her on an even keel through the loss of her father, the birth of her daughter, pivotal changes in her 30-year award-winning business and many challenging life events.

Carolina Carvalho

Carolina has been practicing yoga since 2000, teaching since 2006. Studies have taken her around the world and were deeply enriched by experiencing yoga therapy in a clinical setting in Madurai, South India. Through her own journey, lifestyle and dedication to the work, Carolina inspires people to live from a place of freedom to realize their fullest potential.

Me Time

The weekend schedule provides down time just for you: time to read, nap, take a bath or schedule an energy healing.

Energy Healing Sessions

In our current environment, massages are not available to many of us but luckily, we can receive energy healing from a distance! Healing treatments can remove blocked energy, harmonize and nourish your entire being to return it to balance.

Early Morning Yoga

Begin Saturday with a gentle hatha yoga session designed to leave you relaxed and ready for the day’s activities.

I'm so tired of Zoom!

Aren’t we all?!

Although you will need to use Zoom to connect to this virtual retreat, I recommend you use headphones for our daily meditations and some of the other activities we will be doing. But the schedule also makes time for unplugged “me time” for things like taking a bath, mindful walks or energy healing.

Is it worth it?

We all know the toll this pandemic has taken on our mental well-being. Social isolation, job insecurity and health crises have left many of us feeling as if we are alone in the world.

That’s why it is so critical that you make time to surround yourself with wonderful teachers and amazing women who can support you and encourage you.

I can't attend the whole weekend.
No worries. We are recording the entire retreat. Watch at your convenience or re-watch important modules. But better some than none! You need—and deserve—this gift to yourself.
I want to be there in person.
Believe me, I share your disappointment that we cannot gather in person. I know we will see each other in person again, but until then, this is the next best thing.
